Why not camp at Detroit Lake State Park while you're here at Big Cliff Reservoir, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Gun Creek. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Minniece Point Trail. So much enjoyable stuff in the Central Cascade Range, just remarkable. A lake nearby is Detroit Lake, and the Volcano Trail offers                  hiking at its best. Big Cliff Reservoir gets lots of water; December is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is July. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing things in the vicinity of Big Cliff Reservoir. You should absolutely take a look at Rock Bridge if you're here at Big Cliff Reservoir, and Arrowhead Saddle is a splendid site to take a look at. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Central Cascade Range. There's whitewater on Elkhorn Creek for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and here at Big Cliff Reservoir you can spot Rocky Top. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at B and B Rentals, naturally you could also check out Tumble Lake since you're here; it's not far at all.
