There's no way someone can get bored here in the Central Cascade Range. You can take a little tour to Big Cliff Dam since you're here at Big Cliff Reservoir; Detroit Lake State Park is a brilliant campground nearby. Elkhorn Creek is a pleasant whitewater spot next to Big Cliff Reservoir, and the Minniece Point Trail is a good hiking trail nearby. So much cool stuff to do in the Central       Cascade Range, not enough time. A tremendous place for whitewater paddling close to Big Cliff Reservoir is Santiam River - North, and you should absolutely go to Rock Bridge while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is good here at Big Cliff Reservoir, you can go for a hike along the Rocky Top Trail, and if you fancy a little side visit, try Arrowhead Saddle. If only every spot had this much outdoors enjoyable stuff, what a great globe                  it would be. On a brilliant day at Big Cliff Reservoir you can take a hike along the Volcano Trail, and B and B Rentals is a perfect local campground. The Central Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Big Cliff Reservoir you can see Rocky Top. If you need a site to stay Best Western Sandy Inn is a brilliant choice; Gun Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth taking a look at. During the days of summer, highs regularly are in the 70's at Big Cliff Reservoir. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Big Cliff Reservoir are in the 30's.
