Big Basin Reservoir is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. That right there is plenty of cool stuff already but it goes on, the Stochs Mountains has it all. There's so much to do here at Big Basin Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Blitzen Crossing Campground is a brilliant place for that, and great hiking is available along the The Beef Trail. Take a side trip to Cottonwood Creek; a beautiful lake like Eleven Horse Reservoir is a great

| | place to pop by. During the long summer days at Big Basin Reservoir highs are ordinarily in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 40's. Through the wintertime the highs are usually in the 40's; throughout the dark hours in the winter at Big Basin Reservoir temperatures dip to the 10's.
This lake is located in the wonderful Stochs Mountains. It is very waterless here at Big Basin Reservoir mostly; November is the month | |

that gets the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful.
