You can run the rapids of Mill Creek close to Beyers Pond, and after a long day outdoors College Inn is a wonderful spot to spend a night or two. Any time is a brilliant time at Beyers Pond if you like the outdoors. Enjoy a round of golf at Oak Knoll Golf Course not far from Beyers Pond. This lake is so wonderful. There's some flowing water nearby, Baskett Slough is a stream you can explore while here, and       Courtesy Inn is a great location to get some rest. High temperatures at Beyers Pond through the summer are in the 80's. Summer night lows drop down to the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's while Beyers Pond overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 30's. Here at Beyers Pond you'll almost certainly meet some folks from Salem. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Beyers Pond has to offer, you                  can camp at Ash Creek Mobile Park. A great deal of rainfall falls at Beyers Pond; most of the rain falls through December, and the driest month is July.
