Why not camp at Hemlock Lake Campground since you're here at Bert Lake, and you'll hit upon a wonderful lake called Lost Lake. Now, you may think that's lots but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Bert Lake. A trip to Bert Lake wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Christis Spring; hiking along the Lost Peak Trail is wonderful fun. Bert Lake is one of the lakes here in the Southern Cascade Range. A       delightful location to camp here at Bert Lake is Saddle Campground, and Bert Lake is right by the Four Mile Lake Trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Southern Cascade Range. On a pretty day you get a vista of Lost Peak from Bert Lake, and you can have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Red Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Don't miss out on a great swamp; Big Meadows is right here at Bert Lake; lakes are such calm spots, why not pop by Center                  Lake. All the outdoors cool stuff in the Southern Cascade Range will keep you coming back again and again. Crater Lake National Park is a tremendous place in the neighborhood of Bert Lake. Bert Lake is a good site of typical precipitation; during the month of November you get the most rain around here; the driest month of the year is July. For the period of the summertime at Bert Lake temperatures are typically in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 40's.
