These mountains rock, just explore all the entertaining things to do in the Central Cascade Range. Zurfluhs Ponds is a tremendous lake close to Bentz Ponds, and dry warm beds await you at Valley Inn Lebanon. People from Albany-Lebanon love to come to Bentz Ponds, and Bentz Ponds is good enough to spend more than a day at, Park Campground is a good local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart beating on the       delightful whitewater of Thomas Creek, and hiking along the Crabtree Lake Trail is nice fun. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Bentz Ponds; the overnight is somewhat chillier of course, generally in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 30's for Bentz Ponds. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff right next door to Bentz Ponds. The sight of beautiful Prospect Mountain near Bentz Ponds is great; why not                  explore close by Bilyeu Creek if you're here at Bentz Ponds. Rodeway Inn Sublimity is a good location to get some rest, and you can run the rapids of Crabtree Creek. Bentz Ponds gets much water; most of the rain falls during December, and the driest of the months is July. If you want a good time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Central Cascade Range. Bentz Ponds is right by the Snow Peak Mill City Trail, and camping at Silver Falls State Park is always a splendid experience. The Central Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful.
