This is a nice neighborhood for people who like lakes. Mortimer Canyon Reservoir is a lake in the neighborhood. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Bennett Lake, and the nighttime is a little chillier of course, ordinarily in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's       while the cold winter nights at Bennett Lake are in the 10's. Bennett Lake is a great place to visit for more than one day, Sands Overnight Trailer Park is a great place to camp nearby; there's great hiking along the Call Meadow Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are magnificent; Lower Jones Canyon Reservoir is a lake that's near Bennett Lake, and after a long day outdoors Days Inn Burns is a glorious site to spend a night or two.
