Crystal Crane Hot Springs is a great campground nearby, and don't leave Bennett Lake without first going for a hike along the Rattlesnake Trail. This is a nice neighborhood for people who like lakes. Mortimer Canyon Reservoir is a lake in the neighborhood. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Bennett Lake, and the nighttime is a little chillier of course, ordinarily in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's

Bennett Lake is a great place to visit for more than one day, Sands Overnight Trailer Park is a great place to camp nearby; there's great hiking along the Call Meadow Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are magnificent; Lower Jones Canyon Reservoir is a lake that's near Bennett Lake, and after a long day outdoors Days Inn Burns is a glorious site to spend a night or two.
