There's so much to do here at Bennehoff Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Mountain View Holiday Travel is a tremendous site for that, and you might also want to pay a visit to Juniper Gulch while you're       here at Bennehoff Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Golf can be played at Baker City Golf Club, and a short tour to Currey Spring is always worthwhile. A glorious nearby hotel is Bridge Street Inn, and Beaver Creek is close to Bennehoff Reservoir and is always a diversion to take a look at. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Bennehoff Reservoir; Elkhorn Crest Trail is a perfect local trail, and after a long day outdoors Geiser Grand Hotel is a great                  location to spend a night or two. For the duration of the summertime here at Bennehoff Reservoir, high temperatures mostly reach the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's with temperatures at Bennehoff Reservoir dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. Stay the night at Baker RV Park, and lots of people from La Grande come here. Bennehoff Reservoir is frequently a pretty dried out spot; during December this area sees the most snow; the driest month is July.
