Camp Dakota is a perfect local campground, and it's a delightful idea to visit Bauer Creek. These mountains rock, just check out all the fun things to do in the Central Cascade Range. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. Going for a hike on the Pine Crest Trail is always a splendid adventure, and there are good places to explore along the High Camp Trail. In case       you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mollala River - South Fork. Lakes? Sure, Pelkey Lake is close by. This lake is located in the wonderful Central Cascade Range. All through the summertime months, highs usually are in the 70's at Beeres Pond, and the overnight is a bit colder of course, regularly in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Beeres Pond.                  A large amount of precipitation falls at Beeres Pond; December is the month that gets the most rain; July is when it's the driest. If you want a tremendous time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Central Cascade Range. Mollala River - North Fork has a good whitewater paddling spot close by; a tremendous close by hotel is Rivershore Hotel on the Willamette River. This lake is so wonderful.
