Yep, outdoors amusing things truly is abundant here in the Central Cascade Range. Cascade Sports Camp is a nice local campground. Going for a hike along the Pine Crest Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and Rivershore Hotel on the Willamette River is a glorious location to get some

rest. Bauer Creek flows through this area, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the High Camp Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. On a wonderful day at Beeres Pond you can take a hike along the Baty Silver King Trail; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Mollala River - North Fork. Much rainfall falls at Beeres Pond; through the month of December you get the most rain around here; July on the other hand is the driest. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Central Cascade Range. Beeres Pond is a glorious spot to visit for more than one day, Camp Dakota is a glorious spot to camp nearby, and a lake close by is Pelkey Lake.

Pine Crest Trail
...to go there last weekend and we were disappointed to find that S. Mollala Forest Rd narrows and now effectively ends. Actually, it continues, but the road is impeded by a gate sporting many 'no trespassing' signs and marking it 'private property'. When we got to this point, we were just about to turn around and go home when another car drove past us onto the road. Having driven for several hours to get there, we dared to venture further, and followed the car despite the many warnings on the gate.
