Bearwallow Reservoir is a nice lake to visit. All year is a good time in the Wallowa Mountains if you have a thing about the outdoors. Beecher Creek flows through this region, and a great place is Bearwallow Gulch. It is very dehydrated here at Bearwallow Reservoir regularly; through the month of December you get the most snow around here; the driest month of the year is July. This lake is so wonderful. There's always R K Moseley Dam to have a look at in close proximity

| | to Bearwallow Reservoir, and Bearwallow Reservoir is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, McCornick Campground is a wonderful local campground. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the Wallowa Mountains. Paddling on Wildhorse River is so much fun, and the Kettle Creek Trail is a delightful hiking trail nearby. Butte from Bearwallow Reservoir. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. If you came to camp Eagle Valley Recreational Vehicle Park is a pleasant place to do that. Lakes are nice; Laird Reservoir is a lake that's right next
door to Bearwallow Reservoir. High temperatures at Bearwallow Reservoir through the warm days of summer are in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's usually in the 40's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Bearwallow Reservoir.
