Bear Lake gets very little rain; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow while July is typically the driest month. The Wallowa Mountains scenery is always beautiful. During the warm days of summer highs here at Bear Lake reach the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 40's. All through the winter highs are usually in the 30's, and winter nights       come with lows in the 20's to Bear Lake. So much entertaining stuff to do here in the Wallowa Mountains, too glorious to be true. At Bear Lake you always meet someone from La Grande. Man, is there plenty of amusing stuff to do in the Wallowa Mountains. Going for a hike along the Bowman Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. There's so much to do here at Bear Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Out Post RV Park is a brilliant                  location for that. Now, you may assume that's loads but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Bear Lake. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Bear Lake has to offer, you can camp at Nez Perce Trailer and RV Park; you're probably keen on lakes, Hobo Lake is one of those nearby. This is a great neighborhood for people who like lakes. Wood Lake is a lake close by, and North Minam Meadows is a nice place. While you're here at Bear Lake you can take a hike along the Bear Creek Trail; dry warm beds await you at Best Western Rama Inn & Suites. This lake is so wonderful.
