    A visit to Bear Lake is always a good idea. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is wonderful on Marion Creek, and Bear Lake is a great location to camp, Trout Lake Campground is a great location. But wait, there's more fun things to do in the Central Cascade Range. Very stunning scenery and fine skiing is what you get at Hoodoo, and after a long day outdoors Detroit Motel is a brilliant spot to spend a night or two. Having a nice time in the Central  
   Cascade Range is easy. Get drenched paddling on Collawash River, and you can stay the night at Lemiti Campground.
Don't leave Bear Lake without first going for a hike along the Jefferson Park Trail, and here at Bear Lake you can observe Bear Point. This place, Bear Lake, it definitely has so much outdoors amusing stuff. Don't forget to take a great little trip to South Fork North Fork Breitenbush River, and you can go for a hike on the South Breitenbush Trail.
 
               This lake is so wonderful.
Good hiking is available along the Cub Creek Trail, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at nearby Davey Lake. Bear Lake is one of the lakes here in the Central Cascade Range. At Bear Lake through the summer months highs are in the 70's while overnight lows are typically in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Bear Lake plunge into the 30's.
Bear Lake is a pretty wet place frequently with much rainfall; December is the wettest month with most rain; July on the other hand is the driest.
