    It's always fun to stop by Bear Lake. If you came to camp Wind Mountain Resort is a fine place to do that, and Hood River - West Fork is a good whitewater spot close by. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Mt. Hood Meadows. Just can't get enough of the Central Cascade Range. You can run the rapids of Hood River - Lake Branch close to Bear Lake; hey, Gate Creek is a fine local stream.
Bear Lake generally gets a great deal of rainfall; the month with most of
 
   the rain is December while July is usually the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. This is a popular site for folks from Hood River, and the skiing at Cooper Spur is great. This lake is located in the wonderful Central Cascade Range.
This lake is so wonderful. Wind River Cabins & Lodging is a splendid site to get some rest, and you can have a fine hiking adventure along the Wyeth Trail. Camping at Bigfoot Park is always a good experience; if the weather
 
               is great, you can go for a hike along the Herman Creek Trail. If you love the outdoors, you'll go for Bear Lake. A great nearby hotel is Bridge of The Gods Motel & Rv; you can observe Mount Defiance from Bear Lake.
Summertime highs at Bear Lake commonly tend to be in the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. For the period of the winter the highs are mostly in the 40's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Bear Lake temperatures dip to the 30's. And that's not all you can do here in the Central Cascade Range. Nearby lakes? Sure, North Lake is next to Bear Lake, and going for a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 23 will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area.
