So much fun stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range, not sufficient time. On a good day at Bays Lake you can take a hike along the Jefferson Park Trail, and paddling on Collawash River is so much fun. At Bays Lake through the warm days of summer highs are in the 70's with night lows in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 40's; nighttime lows in the 30's for Bays Lake. What a location this is       for outdoors folks. You'll find a picturesque lake called Park Lake near Bays Lake, and you can stay the night at Lemiti Campground. This place, the Central Cascade Range, has so much outdoors enjoyable things. Trout Lake Campground is a glorious campground here; a wonderful vista of picturesque Dinah-mo Peak is available. Jefferson Park is a great site to visit in the vicinity of Bays Lake; there is a brilliant hiking trail nearby called the Pamelia Lake Trail.                  This lake is so wonderful. Detroit Motel is a good site to get some rest; if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the South Breitenbush Trail. The high level of rainfall makes Bays Lake a pretty wet location; December is the wettest month with most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Hoodoo is near Bays Lake, and while you're here at Bays Lake, checking out Jefferson Park Glacier is a must. The Central Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful.
