The high level of precipitation makes Bauer Reservoir a rather wet spot; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and August meanwhile is the driest month. While you're here at Bauer Reservoir, you could also stop at lovely Shipley Pool, and why not take a little tour to Beaver Creek if you're here. And that's not all you can do here at Bauer Reservoir. In the event       that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Nehalem River; why not camp at Cedar Ridge while you're here at Bauer Reservoir. You absolutely should have a thing about the Coast Ranges. Big Eddy County Park is a brilliant local campground, and you'll find a lovely lake called Dorman Pond. Man, is there a heap of fun things to do in the Coast Ranges. High temperatures at Bauer Reservoir through the summertime are in the                  60's. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 50's, and night lows during the winter for Bauer Reservoir tend to be in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western University Inn, and Rock Creek has a fine whitewater paddling spot nearby. This lake is one of the great places here in the Coast Ranges.
