    Beautiful Battle Creek Mountain Reservoir has much to offer visitors. On a great day at Battle Creek Mountain Reservoir you can take a hike along the South Prong Trail, and the view of lovely Battle Creek Mountain is nice. Battle Creek Mountain Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Blue Mountains. And that's not all you can do here at Battle Creek Mountain Reservoir. Battle Creek Mountain Reservoir is a magnificent site to camp, Fish House Inn is a magnificent  
   site; do have a look at Seven Sixty Reservoir, it's a scenic lake.
This lake is so wonderful. Visiting John Day Fossil Beds National Monument is just something you need to do if you haven't yet; a good nearby hotel is Best Western John Day Inn. Man, is there plenty of enjoyable things to do in the Blue Mountains. Seven Sixty Spring is always fun to check out. It is very dried out here at Battle Creek Mountain Reservoir mostly; the month of November is the wettest
 
               with most of the rain while September is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
You clearly should have a thing about the Blue Mountains. The Black Canyon Trail is a magnificent hiking trail near Battle Creek Mountain Reservoir; naturally Payten Creek flows through this neighborhood. During the months of summer here at Battle Creek Mountain Reservoir, high temperatures usually get into the 80's while nighttime lows are ordinarily in the 40's. Highs through the winter are frequently in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Battle Creek Mountain Reservoir. Pine Tree Campground is a great campground here, and close by you hit upon the Coffeepot Trail which is a fine hiking trail.
