After a long day outdoors TownePlace Suites Portland Hillsboro is a splendid site to spend a night or two, and you'll meet a lot of people from Portland-Vancouver-Beaverton here. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Orenco Station Manor Suites is a great choice; Ettinger Dam is delightful. Witzig Reservoir is a nearby       lake that you could go to, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Reserve Vineyards & Golf Club is close by. What a place this is for outdoors people. Stay the night at Washington County Fair Grounds, and Bastion Reservoir is a great site to visit for more than one day, Pine Ridge Park is a great site to camp nearby. Bastion Reservoir is a wet spot that gets a great deal of rainfall; December is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest                  month of the year is July. For the duration of the summer months highs here at Bastion Reservoir reach the 80's, and the night is a little cooler of course, regularly in the 50's.
