Bassett Reservoir is always a pleasure to visit. Throughout the days of summer highs here at Bassett Reservoir reach the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 40's, and night lows in the 30's for Bassett Reservoir. Bassett Reservoir is a wet spot that gets lots of precipitation; through the month of November you get the most rain around here; July is the month with the least moisture.

| | These mountains rock, just look at all the enjoyable things to do in the Southern Cascade Range. Put some time aside to spend at Nye Spring since you're here at Bassett Reservoir, and camping at Prospect Rv Park is always a pleasant experience.
Bassett Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Southern Cascade Range. From Bassett Reservoir you get a good vista of Whetstone Point; if you've had enough of Bassett Reservoir, Persist Ranch Reservoirs is close by. | |

This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Flat Creek Trail; you're in all probability addicted to lakes, Peyton Reservoir is one of those close by.
While you're here at Bassett Reservoir you will meet lots
of folks from nearby Medford; in the event that you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Rogue River - North Fork. If you want a brilliant time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Southern
Cascade Range. Go for a hike on the Umpqua Rogue Trail, and camping is available at Mountain Home Mobile Village. What a place this is for outdoors people. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Bassett Reservoir; North and South
Trail is a tremendous local trail, and don't forget to take a good little journey to Hurd Creek.
