Be careful coming to the Southern Cascade Range, you might not ever wanna go home again. Go for a hike on the North and South Trail, and the sight of lovely Whetstone Point is brilliant. There are some nice whitewater spots on Rogue River - North Fork, and the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Nye Spring. This lake is so wonderful. You're in all probability keen on lakes, Persist Ranch       Reservoirs is one of those nearby; Prospect Rv Park is a magnificent campground nearby. This lake is located in the wonderful Southern Cascade Range. This is a fine neighborhood for people who like lakes. Peyton Reservoir is a lake around here, and there are pleasant spots to look at along the Flat Creek Trail. Bassett Reservoir frequently gets lots of rainfall; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain; the driest month is July.                  So much exciting stuff near Bassett Reservoir, absolutely tremendous. Bassett Reservoir is a place with many visitors from Medford, and Bassett Reservoir is a fine site to visit for more than one day, Mountain Home Mobile Village is a fine site to camp nearby. Yeah, come up here to the Southern Cascade Range for a great time. A quick spree to Hurd Creek in close proximity to Bassett Reservoir is a brilliant idea; going for a hike on the Umpqua Rogue Trail is always a glorious adventure. Summertime highs at Bassett Reservoir mostly tend to be in the 80's; the night is quite cooler of course, generally in the 40's.
