Go to Bass Reservoir if you want to go to a nice lake. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Bass Reservoir; the nighttime is a bit chillier of course, commonly in the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 40's, and night lows at Bass Reservoir through the winter generally drop into the 30's. This lake is located in the wonderful Coast Ranges. If you came for an overnight stay Ash Creek Mobile Park is a pleasant place to camp,

Bass Reservoir is not far at all from Corvallis; camping at Bass Reservoir is fine fun, Driftwood - Siuslaw National Forest is a fine local campground. This lake is so wonderful. An afternoon playing golf at Dallas Golf Links is always a diversion, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit close by Eliander Reservoir. This place, the Coast Ranges, has so much outdoors exciting things. | |

Visit Fern Creek while you're here at Bass Reservoir; if you need a site to stay Best Western Dallas Inn & Suites is a good choice.
So much amusing stuff to do in the Coast Ranges, not enough time. You feel that's enough? Just
getting warmed up. Holiday Inn Express Corvallis-On The River, Or is a great spot to get some rest, and paddling on Mill Creek is so much fun. Bass Reservoir sees pretty high levels of rainfall; December is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is July.
