     This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Barton Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Eagle Trailer Park is a great location for that, and there are plenty of folks from Medford here. The yearly precipitation here at Barton Reservoir is about average; during December this area sees the most rain; July on the other hand is the driest. Courtyard Medford Airport is a glorious place to get some rest, and going for a hike on the Alco Trail  
   is always a glorious adventure.
So much amusing stuff to do in the Southern Cascade Range, not enough time. Don't leave Barton Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Tison Trail, and paddling on Big Butte Creek is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for something right next door to Barton Reservoir? Mayes Reservoir is in close proximity, and there are great sites to look at along the Chicago Trail. Having a good time at Barton Reservoir
 
               is trouble-free. Take a little journey to Nichols Branch while you're here at Barton Reservoir.
The Southern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. All the outdoors enjoyable things close to Barton Reservoir will keep you coming back over and over. The view of Eagle Point from Barton Reservoir is charming, and probably you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Todd Reservoir is just a very short distance away. Glide down the rapids of Rogue River in a kayak, and do set aside some time for Eagle Point Meadows while you're here at Barton Reservoir.
If you came to camp Fish Lake Resort is a delightful site to do that; if you need a site to stay La Quinta Inn and Suites White City is a delightful choice. The warmest time of the year at Barton Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and nighttime lows at Barton Reservoir during the wintertime mostly dip into the 20's. This place, the Southern Cascade Range, has so much outdoors fun stuff. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Mt. Ashland, and while you're here you can play some golf at Eagle Point Golf Course.

If you can ski Mt. Ashland, you can ski anywhere, is a boast locals in southern Oregon have made for 45 years. It is true; Mt. Ashland offers plenty of adventure for both skiers and riders. The ski area is located about a half an hour drive from the charming town of Ashland, home to the world renowned Oregon Shakespeare Festival. At 7,500 feet, Mt. Ashland is the highest point in the Siskiyou mountain range. Its north facing slopes collect an average 300 inches of snowfall annually. The ski area offers 23 trails in addition to chute skiing and boarding in its famous bowl. All trails are easily accessed by 4 chairlifts. Twilight skiing on 10 runs is scheduled Thursday through Friday evenings beginning in late-December. The mountain prides itself on a warm and friendly atmosphere.
