This lake is one of the great places here in the Southern Cascade Range. You must positively dedicate some time to Eagle Point Meadows since you're here at Barton Reservoir; a nice place to camp here at Barton Reservoir is Fish Lake Resort. Now, you may feel that's a heap but there's even more amusing stuff to do here in the Southern Cascade Range. Lakes? Sure, Todd Reservoir is close by; Barton Reservoir is great       enough to spend more than a day at, Eagle Trailer Park is a great local campground. Whohoo, so many enjoyable things in one place! The Southern Cascade Range is peerless! Get dripping wet paddling on Big Butte Creek; on a fine day you can take a hike along the Tison Trail. For the period of the warm days of summer at Barton Reservoir temperatures are usually in the 80's while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the                  40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Barton Reservoir. Barton Reservoir gets a normal amount of yearly rainfall; December is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is July. If only every place had this much outdoors fun stuff, what a great globe it would be. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Rogue River, and if you need a spot to stay La Quinta Inn Suites White City is a good choice. And if that's not sufficient, there's loads more to do near Barton Reservoir. Really wonderful skiing awaits you at Mt. Ashland. Eagle Point is delightful and can be made out from Barton Reservoir, and going for a hike along the Alco Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Barton Reservoir, you'll locate Mayes Reservoir which is a picturesque lake; obviously Nichols Branch is a striking stream that is worth a visit. Eagle Point Golf Course is a golf course next to Barton Reservoir, and Courtyard by Marriott Medford Airport is a tremendous location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful.
