There's so much to do here at Barton Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Eagle Trailer Park is a great location for that, and there are plenty of folks from Medford here. The yearly precipitation here at Barton Reservoir is about average; during December this area sees the most rain; July on the other hand is the driest. Courtyard Medford Airport is a glorious place to get some rest, and going for a hike on the Alco Trail       is always a glorious adventure. So much amusing stuff to do in the Southern Cascade Range, not enough time. Don't leave Barton Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Tison Trail, and paddling on Big Butte Creek is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful.
