Griffin Creek Dam is worth visiting if you're here, and there is a great hiking trail close by called the Snowshoe Creek Trail. If you're here at Bar S Reservoir, you could take a look at Coyote Creek, and Crane Creek Campground is a pleasant campground here. If the weather is magnificent here at Bar S Reservoir, you can go for a hike along the Call Meadow Trail, and if you get bored of Bar       S Reservoir you could also take a look at nearby Griffin Creek Reservoir. All through the summer months highs here at Bar S Reservoir get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 30's.
