This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Bar S Reservoir, you'll stumble on Sitz Reservoir which is a striking lake; camping at Crane Creek Campground is always a delightful experience. Any time is a good time at Bar S Reservoir if you have a thing about the outdoors. Griffin Creek Dam is worth going to       while you're here; hiking along the Call Meadow Trail is tremendous fun. Dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Burns, and if you came to camp Wickiup Campground is a good site to do that. It is very dried out here at Bar S Reservoir regularly; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow; July meanwhile is the driest month. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by nearby Griffin Creek Reservoir; you can have a good hiking                  adventure along the Rattlesnake Trail. Throughout the long summer days here at Bar S Reservoir, high temperatures frequently reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 30's.
