There's nice hiking along the White Trail; there are some fine whitewater spots on Owyhee River. Around Banana Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is June; the driest of the months is July. This lake is so wonderful. North Lookout Butte Reservoir is a perfect lake in the neighborhood of Banana Lake, and there are other locations here than Banana Lake, for example East Black Butte Reservoir.
