Baker City Super 8 Motel is a pleasant location to get some rest, and not far from Balm Creek Reservoir you'll hit upon Cranston Reservoir which is a picturesque lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Wallowa Mountains.
Yeah, come up here to the Wallowa Mountains for a good time. Hiking along the West Eagle Trail is delightful fun, and why not camp at Hells Canyon Packers if you're here at Balm Creek Reservoir. Balm Creek Reservoir is a location that is relatively waterless generally; most of the rain falls during May, and July is when it's the driest.
