a beautiful lake in the Blue Mountains. Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! The Blue Mountains rocks! Going for a hike on the Indian Rock Trail is always a great adventure, obviously you could also go to Mud Lake while
you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Best Western John Day Inn is a magnificent location to spend a night or two. There is a delightful hiking trail near Balance Lake called the Big
Boulder Trail, and a tour to Balance Spring will fill your spirit with good feelings. At Balance Lake you don’t see much rainfall; all through the month of November you get the most rain around here; July meanwhile is the driest month.
