On a brilliant day at Baker Lake you can take a hike along the Swampy Lakes Trail, and you can run the rapids of Deschutes River. At Baker Lake through the months of summer highs are in the 80's; the night is rather colder of course, mostly in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Baker Lake. Why not camp at Scandia RV and Mobile Park while you're here at Baker       Lake, and if you're here you will meet lots of people from close by Bend. Baker Lake is regularly a relatively dried out place; through the month of December you get the most snow around here, and July is the month with the least moisture. Baker Lake is not the only place nearby, Mirror Pond is a nearby lake, and the Paulina Peak Trail is a good hiking trail nearby. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Crown Villa RV Resort is a tremendous                  site to camp, and since you're here and you like golf, you can check out Widgi Creek Golf Club. Just can't get enough of Baker Lake.
