Why not stop by Badger Lake if you're passing through these parts. A brilliant nearby hotel is Mount Hood Inn, and the snow is magnificent at Mt. Hood Meadows. This lake is so wonderful. Near Badger Lake you stumble on the Boulder Lake Trail which is a great hiking trail, and if you're interested in hydro structures, you can go to Badger Lake Dam. All through the warmest time of the year at Badger Lake temperatures are commonly in the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. lows in the 30's for Badger Lake. You definitely have to love Badger Lake. Do set aside some time for Crane Prairie while you're here at Badger Lake; camping at Clinger Campground is always a great experience. This lake is so
wonderful. If you want a nice time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Central Cascade Range. You get a tremendous panorama of Badger Butte from Badger Lake, and you can go for a hike on the Little Boulder Way Trail. You
absolutely must adore the Central Cascade Range. You can run the rapids of White River in close proximity to Badger Lake; Gumjuwac Saddle is a splendid place to stop at. These mountains rock, just explore all the amusing things
to do in the Central Cascade Range. While you're here at Badger Lake, you could also stop at delightful Spinning Lake, and a tour to Badger Lake wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Jack Springs. This lake is so wonderful.
Get your heart beating on the glorious whitewater of White River, and Comfort Suites Hood River is a wonderful place to get some rest. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Cooper Spur, and going for a hike
on the Boulder Lake Way Trail is always a magnificent adventure. A lot of rainfall falls at Badger Lake; throughout the month of December you get the most rain around here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. The Central Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful.
