If you are in Curry county it's always a good idea to stop by Babyfoot Lake. And that's not all the things you can do here in the Coast Ranges. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Illinois River offers some magnificent whitewater, and Babyfoot Lake is in close proximity to Lightning Gulch which is without doubt worth stopping at. Babyfoot Lake is a wet place that gets a lot of rain; all through the month of December you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is July. park, and the panorama of Canyon Peak is beautiful.
You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors cool stuff the area near Babyfoot Lake has to offer. There's so much to do here at Babyfoot Lake that you need to camp here for
a while, Mountain Man RV Park is a delightful site for that, and don't leave Babyfoot Lake without first going for a hike along the Chetco Peak Trail. Soar down the rapids of Illinois River in a kayak, and there are great spots to
look at along the Chetco Divide Trail. All through the warmest time of the year, highs regularly are in the 70's at Babyfoot Lake, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Babyfoot Lake.
