    A visit to Azalea Lake is always a good idea. Azalea Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; December is the wettest month with most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. This lake is one of the great places here in the Coast Ranges. So many enjoyable things to do here in the Coast Ranges, too nice to be true. You'll meet a lot of folks from Brookings here.
The Bear Camp Trail offers hiking at its best, and since you might be in a lake visiting
 
   mood you can always have a look at close by Dry Lake. Good hiking is available along the Mountain Wells Trail. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Azalea Lake has to offer, you can camp at China Flat Campground. This lake is so wonderful. A splendid site in close proximity to Azalea Lake is Agness Pass, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Coquille River - South Fork.
Summer brings highs in the
 
               70's to Azalea Lake. Through the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Azalea Lake. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff close to Azalea Lake. Chrome Creek is a stream that you may come across during your stay. There's so much to do here at Azalea Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Powers Park is a nice place for that. Man, is there plenty of fun things to do in the Coast Ranges. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Azalea Lake; Lower River Trail is a great local trail; if you come at the right time of year, Coquille River - South Fork offers some great whitewater.
