    Beautiful Azalea Lake has much to offer visitors. All the water falling down from the sky makes Azalea Lake a wet location; most of the rain falls all through December; the driest month is July. Man, is there a lot of fun stuff to do in the Coast Ranges. Near Azalea Lake you stumble on Agness Pass which is a pleasant place to stop at; going for a hike along the Mountain Wells Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. The Bear Camp Trail is  
   a great hiking trail close to Azalea Lake, and McCurdy Campground is a great campground here.
Through the days of summer highs here at Azalea Lake reach the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 50's; nighttime lows at Azalea Lake during the winter typically descend into the 30's. So much fun stuff to do here in the Coast Ranges, too delightful to be true. You're sure to bump into some nice people from
 
               Brookings here. What a place this is for outdoors folks. In the event that you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Coquille River - South Fork; if the weather is delightful, you can go for a hike along the Lower River Trail.
If you came for an overnight stay China Flat Campground is a splendid place to camp, and Coquille River - South Fork has a magnificent whitewater paddling spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Azalea Lake, you could also stop by lovely Dry Lake, and it's a nice idea to check out Chrome Creek. This lake is located in the wonderful Coast Ranges.
