For the period of the summertime months here at Azalea Lake, high temperatures typically reach the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 50's; all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Azalea Lake temperatures plunge to the 30's. The Lower River Trail is a great hiking trail right next door to Azalea Lake. You'll need more than a day to explore       everything Azalea Lake has to offer, you can camp at Powers Park. Yeah, come up here to the Coast Ranges for a delightful time. If you're here, you might as well check out Agness Pass, and Azalea Lake is a great site to visit for more than one day, China Flat Campground is a great site to camp nearby. All the outdoors cool things in the Coast Ranges will keep you coming back many times. In case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always                  go whitewater paddling on Coquille River - South Fork, and a quick spree to Chrome Creek is positively a glorious idea. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Dads Lake, and close by you locate the Bear Camp Trail which is a good hiking trail.
