In Oregon there are many beautiful lakes, Averill Lake is one of them. Averill Lake is located in the Central Cascade Range. Averill Lake is a wet location that gets a great deal of precipitation; all through December this area sees the most rain; July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is nice here at Averill Lake, you can go for a hike along the Fish Lake Trail; soar down the rapids of Collawash River in a kayak.

| | day at Averill Lake you can take a hike along the Wolf Spring Trail, and a splendid place to camp here at Averill Lake is Lemiti Campground. And if that's not enough there's a lot more cool stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range. On a pretty day you get a vista of Double Peaks from Averill Lake; paddling on Marion Creek is so much fun. also stop at nearby Bump Lake.
Now, you may think that's a load but there's even more exciting stuff to do here in the Central Cascade Range. A day on the slopes of Hoodoo is just what you need. Man, is there plenty of enjoyable
stuff to do in close proximity to Averill Lake. Why not visit close by South Fork North Fork Breitenbush River if you're here at Averill Lake, and camping is available at Trout Lake Campground. Through the summer months at Averill
Lake highs are frequently in the 70's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Averill Lake.
