If you like lakes and you're in this part of Oregon you can check out Averill Lake. Averill Lake is a relatively wet place typically with a lot of precipitation; through December this area sees the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. It's a nice idea to have a look at South Fork North Fork Breitenbush River, it's right next door to Averill Lake, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend

A magnificent location to camp here at Averill Lake is Lemiti Campground; there's whitewater on Collawash River for all you adrenaline rush seekers. much outdoors exciting stuff, what a great world it would be. Hiking along the Fish Lake Trail is great fun, and not far from Averill Lake you'll hit upon Wall Lake which is a stunning lake. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are brilliant;
Red Lake is a lake that's next to Averill Lake, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Wolf Spring Trail. Camping is available at Trout Lake Campground, and Averill Lake is right by the Cub Creek Trail. Averill Lake
is located in the Central Cascade Range. For the period of the summertime months highs here at Averill Lake reach the 70's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's while the cold winter nights at Averill Lake are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful.
