Why not stop by Aubert Reservoir if you're passing through these parts. Mt. Hood Meadows is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood. All through the warm months at Aubert Reservoir temperatures are mostly in the 70's, and the overnight is quite colder of course, commonly in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 30's for Aubert Reservoir. Aubert Reservoir is a wet place that gets much rain; December is the wettest

This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Lost Lake Resort and Campground is a glorious place to do that, and if you need a spot to stay Columbia Gorge Hotel is a fine choice. Yeah, come up here to the Central Cascade Range for a great time. Lots of people from Hood River come to Aubert Reservoir, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Hood River -
East Fork. This lake is so wonderful. The top of Bald Butte is easily observed from Aubert Reservoir; don't leave Aubert Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Zigzag Trail. Camping at Clinger Campground is always a great
experience; you can hit the slopes at Cooper Spur in the neighborhood.
There are some nice whitewater spots on Hood River, and there are brilliant locations to discover along the Dog River Trail. All the outdoors exciting things
in the Central Cascade Range will keep you coming back time and again. Don't leave Aubert Reservoir without first paying a visit to Graham Spring; great hiking is available along the Lamberson Butte Spur Trail.
