This lake is located in the wonderful Central Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. Near Aubert Reservoir you come across the Dog River Trail which is a perfect hiking trail, and Comfort Suites Hood River is a great site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is fine on Hood River - East Fork, and Aubert Reservoir is a fine spot to visit for more than one day, Dufur Valley Farms is a fine       spot to camp nearby. And if that's not enough there's loads more amusing things to do in the Central Cascade Range. Really perfect skiing awaits you at Cooper Spur, and get soaked paddling on Hood River. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a wonderful time here at Aubert Reservoir. Do have a look at Emil Creek Reservoir near Aubert Reservoir, it's a pretty lake, and Bald Butte can be distinguished from Aubert Reservoir. Now, you may assume that's loads but there's                  even more cool stuff to do here at Aubert Reservoir. Visit Alder Creek since you're here at Aubert Reservoir. During the long summer days at Aubert Reservoir temperatures are commonly in the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 40's; night lows in the 30's for Aubert Reservoir. Going for a hike on the Zigzag Trail is always a good adventure, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Hood River Inn is a great place to spend a night or two. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Graham Spring, and you can go for a hike on the Lamberson Butte Spur Trail. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Mt. Hood Meadows, and during your spree here you'll meet some folks from Hood River for sure. A great deal of rainfall falls at Aubert Reservoir; most of the rain falls throughout December, and July is the month with the least moisture. Just can't get enough of the Central Cascade Range.
