What a nice lake Astoria Reservoir is. Summertime brings highs in the 60's to Astoria Reservoir with nighttime lows in the 50's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 40's while Astoria Reservoir nighttime low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 30's. That right there is a load of entertaining stuff already but it goes on, the Coast Ranges has it all. Astoria Rivershore Motel is a tremendous place to get some rest, and if you have time,

| | Fort Clatsop National Memorial is a national park worth stopping at. Stay the night at Sunset Lake Resort and Park, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to close by Astoria Reservoir Number Two.

Reservoir is a wet spot that gets lots of precipitation; most of the rain falls throughout December; July on the other hand is the driest. The Coast Ranges scenery is always beautiful.
You'll really wish for more hours in a day
to enjoy all the amusing things in the Coast Ranges. Brown Creek is a great local stream, and Daggett Point is in close proximity and always good to have a look at. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is nice here at Astoria
Reservoir, you can go for a hike along the Cannon Beach Trail. If you need a site to stay Comfort Suites Columbia River is a nice choice, and in the event that you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Naselle
River - North Fork.
This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Astoria Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Kampers West Kampground; at Astoria Reservoir you always meet someone from Astoria.
