Aspen Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. The high level of precipitation makes Aspen Lake a reasonably wet spot; the wettest month of the year is frequently December, that's the one that snows the most, and July is when it's the driest. Have heard there is some real nice fish in the lake. didn't get a chance to fish. Also let the folks know there is a primitive boat ramp and good camp sites right on the water.
