Man, is there lots of exciting things to do close to Art Reservoir. There is a delightful hiking trail near Art Reservoir called the Black Canyon Trail, and a lake nearby is Big Mowich Reservoir. Having a perfect time in the Blue Mountains is trouble-free. The Blue Mountains scenery is always beautiful. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors fun things the Blue Mountains has to offer.       A short trip to Hobble Spring is always worthwhile; on a brilliant day you can take a hike along the South Prong Trail. Camping at Art Reservoir is fine fun, Fish House Inn is a fine local campground, and going for a hike on the Coffeepot Trail is always a glorious adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Holding Pasture is a lovely spot any time of year, and why not camp at Pine Tree Campground since you're here at Art Reservoir. A journey to John Day Fossil Beds                  National Monument is recommended; Basin Creek is close to Art Reservoir and is always a delight to pop by. Summer at Art Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 40's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's while Art Reservoir overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's.
