Yeah, come here to Arnoldus Pond for a magnificent time. La Grande Travelodge is a great spot to get some rest, and here at Arnoldus Pond you can see Shaw Mountain. It is very dried up here at Arnoldus Pond frequently; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. A pleasant place to camp here at Arnoldus Pond is Hot       Lake RV Resort; Arnoldus Pond is a place with many visitors from La Grande. Have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Beatty Creek Trail, and there are other places here than Arnoldus Pond, for example Ladd Canyon Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Boulevard Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region; while you're here you can take a hike along the Marion Jordan Trail. If you don’t have a problem getting dripping                  wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Grande Ronde River, and camping at Rocky Ford Campground is always a fine experience. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Rama Inn & Suites, and East Fork Clear Creek is close to Arnoldus Pond and is always a joy to visit. This lake is so wonderful. Grande Ronde River has a magnificent whitewater paddling spot close by, and splendid skiing awaits you at Anthony Lakes. At Arnoldus Pond throughout the days of summer highs are in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's.
