Applegate Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. This lake is so wonderful. Black Gulch is a great place to spend some time at. There's so much to do here at Applegate Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Cook and Green Campground is a good place for that. On a splendid day at Applegate Lake you can take a hike along the Horse Camp Trail; some of the water nearby flows, like Grouse Creek. This lake is one of the great places here in

| | the Siskiyou Mountains.
Applegate Lake gets a common amount of rainfall; December is the month that gets the most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. These mountains rock, just look at all the cool things to do in the Siskiyou Mountains. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Scott River. Lake called the Low Gap Trail, and a splendid close by hotel is Best Western Windsor Inn.
Summertime at Applegate Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 40's. The
winter comes with highs in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Applegate Lake. If you want a good time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Siskiyou Mountains. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Applegate
Lake has to offer, you can camp at Hutton Campground, and why not pop by Applegate Dam since you're here. After a long day outdoors Best Western Inn At The Rogue is a good spot to spend a night or two; there are some good whitewater spots on Klamath River.
