In Oregon there are many beautiful lakes, Anvil Lake is one of them. Anvil Lake gets lots of water; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain while July is mostly the driest month. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Central Cascade Range. There are good places to discover along the Cool Creek Trail; if you're here at Anvil Lake it's a great idea to check out Black Wolf Meadows. Anvil Lake is great enough to spend more

| | than a day at, Hambone Springs Campground is a great local campground, and Snowline Motel is a delightful spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Hambone Trail is always a great adventure; if the weather is lovely, you get a glorious sight of Wolf Peak from Anvil Lake. For the period of the warm days of summer here at Anvil Lake, high temperatures usually get into the 70's while nighttime lows are mostly in the 50's. The | |

winter comes with highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Anvil Lake. All year is a delightful time in the Central Cascade Range if you like the outdoors. Camping at Kinzel Lake Campground is always a brilliant
experience, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Zigzag River. Skiing at Timberline Lodge is one of those things you just should do, and you're probably addicted
to lakes, Buck Lake is one of those close by. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Falcon's Crest Inn on Mt. Hood is a magnificent choice, and a good location for whitewater paddling is Clackamas River. Having
a great time at Anvil Lake is uncomplicated. There is a splendid hiking trail close to Anvil Lake called the Skyline Alternate Trail, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Mt. Hood Ski Bowl since you're here. Anvil Lake is a beautiful lake in the Central Cascade Range.
