If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the Wallowa Mountains. From Aneroid Lake you get a wonderful panorama of Bonneville Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Rogers Lake is in close proximity, and don't leave Aneroid Lake without first going for a hike along the Main Creek Trail. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Wallowa       Mountains. Baker City Super 8 Motel is a wonderful place to get some rest; Aneroid Lake is a tremendous place to visit for more than one day, Wallowa Lake State Park is a tremendous place to camp nearby. Aneroid Lake is generally a relatively arid site; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most snow, and the driest month is July. Now, you may assume that's a load but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Aneroid Lake. There are                  good sites to explore along the Kettle Creek Trail, and Scenic Meadows RV Park is a pleasant local campground. There's glorious hiking along the Copper Creek Trail; Jewett Lake is a good lake nearby. This lake is located in the wonderful Wallowa Mountains. Through the warmest time of the year, highs regularly are in the 80's at Aneroid Lake. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 40's. During the winter highs are in the 30's; through the dark hours in the winter at Aneroid Lake temperatures drop to the 10's.
