Anderson Lake is close to Arsenic Canyon which is certainly worth checking out. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Anderson Lake has to offer, you can camp at Hot Springs Campground, of course you could also pop by Swamp Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. Anderson Lake is usually a rather dried up place; of all the months in a year June is the       one with the most rain, and the driest month is February. During the summer months at Anderson Lake highs are typically in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's while the cold winter nights at Anderson Lake are in the 10's. If you need a site to stay Budget Inn - Lakeview is a tremendous choice.
