Any time is a perfect time at Amos Lake if you adore the outdoors. Crater Lake National Park is a very great location to pop by close to Amos Lake, and going for a hike along the Sawtooth Way will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. Andy Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Willamette Pass. But wait, there's more cool stuff to do in       the Central Cascade Range. Amos Lake gets much water; December is the wettest month with most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Having a tremendous time in the Central Cascade Range is easy. Hiking along the Calamut Way is pleasant fun; a brilliant vista of scenic Sawtooth Mountain is available. Through the summer highs here at Amos Lake reach the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 40's. The                  winter comes with highs in the 40's; throughout the dark hours in the winter at Amos Lake temperatures sink to the 20's. Amos Lake is a great site to visit for more than one day, Lake Lucile Campground is a great site to camp nearby, and do take a hike on the Windy Pass Way. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Shelter Cove Resort, and a lake nearby is Indigo Lake.
