This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Lake Alta without first going for a hike along the King Spruce Trail, and since you're here, you could explore Honeymoon Creek. Just can't get enough of Lake Alta. Seven Lakes Basin is a splendid location to stretch your legs a bit, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake Alta; Alta Lake Trail is a brilliant local trail. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Rogue       River - North Fork for all you adrenaline kick people; if you need a spot to stay Lithia Springs Resort And Gardens is a splendid choice. For the period of the summertime, highs typically are in the 60's at Lake Alta. During the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 40's. During the winter highs are generally in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Lake Alta fall into the 10's. A great deal of rainfall falls at Lake Alta; all through                  the month of December you get the most snow around here, and July is when it's the driest. Now, you may feel that's plenty but there's even more cool stuff to do here in the Southern Cascade Range. Crater Lake National Park is a wonderful place in the neighborhood of Lake Alta, and Boulder Pond is a nearby lake that you could have a look at. And if that's not sufficient there's heaps more amusing things to do in the Southern Cascade Range. There's delightful hiking along the Seven Lakes Trail; you need to take a look at Boston Bluff while you're here. Lake Alta is a beautiful lake in the Southern Cascade Range. A lake close by is North Lake, and why not camp at Hemlock Lake Campground while you're here at Lake Alta.
