If you are in Lane county it's always a good idea to stop by Alpine Lake. All the water falling down from the sky makes Alpine Lake a wet location; most of the rain falls through December, and the driest month of the year is July. Yeah, come here to Alpine Lake for a tremendous time. Alpine Lake is a splendid place to visit for more than one day, Shelter Cove Resort is a splendid place to camp nearby; on a great day you can stop at Beaver Marsh, a swamp in

| | the neighborhood of Alpine Lake. So much fun stuff to do here in the Central Cascade Range, too perfect to be true. Drift down the rapids of Salt Creek in a kayak; there are other locations here than Alpine Lake, for example Hemlock Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Cascade Range. Way. Emigrant Pass is a good place to spend some time at, and Fir Lake is a perfect lake close by. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Hills Creek is so much fun; on a pleasant day you can take a hike along the Timpanogas Way.
All year is a great time in the Central Cascade Range if you love the outdoors. The peak of Diamond Rockpile can be observed from Alpine Lake. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Alpine Lake has to offer, you can camp
at Lake Lucile Campground. For the duration of the days of summer highs here at Alpine Lake get into the 80's. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 40's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 40's, and throughout the
dark hours in the winter at Alpine Lake temperatures plunge to the 20's. Best Western Oakridge Inn is a glorious place to get some rest, and going for a hike on the Windigo Way is always a tremendous adventure.
