A visit to Alligator Lake is always a good idea. This lake is located in the wonderful Central Cascade Range. Get wet paddling on Copland Creek, and Deer Lick Falls is always fun to check out. If only every location had this much outdoors cool stuff, what a great world it would be. After a long day outdoors Best Western Oakridge Inn is a glorious spot to spend a night or two, and if you came for an overnight stay Buckhead Mountain Campground is a good spot

| | to camp. This lake is so wonderful. There's perfect hiking along the Copeland Creek Trail, and why not take a little visit to Black Rock Fork while you're here. Be careful coming to the Central Cascade Range, you might not ever wanna return home again. Why not take a refreshing hike along the BVD Trail, and Big Twin Lakes Campground is a glorious local campground. year is usually November, that's the one that rains the most while July is frequently the driest month. The Acker Divide Trail offers hiking at its best, and whitewater paddling is magnificent on Jackson Creek. That right there
is a lot of entertaining stuff already but it goes on, the Central Cascade Range has it all. During the warm months here at Alligator Lake, high temperatures generally reach the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down
into the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Alligator Lake temperatures drop to the 30's.
