A visit to Allen Reservoir is always a good idea. Summertime at Allen Reservoir arrives with high temperatures in the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. Highs through the winter are mostly in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Allen Reservoir during the winter mostly sink into the 10's. Allen Reservoir is typically a relatively arid site; the month with most of the snow is December, and July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at

If you're going to Allen Reservoir from Ontario, you won't be the only one; a lake nearby is Bull Canyon Reservoir. While you're here at Allen Reservoir it's a wonderful idea to explore Deacon Flat, needless to say you could also visit Wire Reservoir if you're here; it's not far at all. | |
