What a nice lake Alice Lake is. Through the summertime, highs commonly are in the 80's at Alice Lake, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's; night lows in the 20's for Alice Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Alice Lake is one of the lakes here in the Central Cascade Range.

| | paddling on Santiam River - North, and a brilliant spot to camp here at Alice Lake is Suttle Lake Resort and Marina. This lake is so wonderful. A fine place for whitewater paddling right next door to Alice Lake is Marion Creek; the vista of Green Peak is wonderful. Camping at Cold Springs Resort is always a great experience. Lakes? Sure, Blue Lake is around here.

meanwhile is the driest month. Any time is a magnificent time at Alice Lake if you love the outdoors. Hoodoo is a very popular ski area close at hand, and the Swallow Lake Trail offers hiking at its best.
