In Oregon there are many beautiful lakes, Alforja Lake is one of them. That right there is a heap of enjoyable stuff already but it goes on, the Central Cascade Range has it all. While you're here at Alforja Lake you can take a hike along the Maxwell Trail, and Latigo Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at. This lake is so wonderful. Have a splendid hiking adventure along the Lava Trail; Santiam River - North has a good whitewater paddling spot close by.

| | The Central Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. If you need a site to stay Lodge at Suttle Lake is a fine choice, and in case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Marion Creek. If you came for an overnight stay Tombstone Prairie Campground is a great spot to camp, and if the weather is splendid, you can go for a hike along the Duffy Lake Trail.
