    In Oregon there are many beautiful lakes, Alforja Lake is one of them. That right there is a heap of enjoyable stuff already but it goes on, the Central Cascade Range has it all. While you're here at Alforja Lake you can take a hike along the Maxwell Trail, and Latigo Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at. This lake is so wonderful. Have a splendid hiking adventure along the Lava Trail; Santiam River - North has a good whitewater paddling spot close by.  
   The Central Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful.
If you need a site to stay Lodge at Suttle Lake is a fine choice, and in case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Marion Creek. If you came for an overnight stay Tombstone Prairie Campground is a great spot to camp, and if the weather is splendid, you can go for a hike along the Duffy Lake Trail. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Alforja Lake. Summer
 
               night lows fall down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's with temperatures at Alforja Lake dipping down into the 30's all through winter nights.
This lake is so wonderful. Some of the water close by flows, like Green Creek; if the weather is beautiful, you acquire a wonderful sight of Duffy Butte from Alforja Lake. Alforja Lake ordinarily gets a good deal of rain; most of the rain falls through December; July is when it's the driest. Don’t forget to take a look at Duffy Prairie while you're here at Alforja Lake.
Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things next to Alforja Lake. Skiing at Hoodoo is one of those things you just should do, and while you're here, you could also stop at charming Cincha Lake. Be careful coming to the Central Cascade Range, you might not ever wanna go home again. Best Western Ponderosa Lodge is a good spot to get some rest, and Country Star Recreational Vehicle Park is a magnificent campground nearby.
