This lake is so wonderful. Near Alameda Lake you hit upon the Timpanogas Way which is a great hiking trail, and swamps don’t sound that good but Beaver Marsh in the neighborhood of Alameda Lake is reasonably good. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors fun stuff the Central Cascade Range has to offer. Looking for something right next door to Alameda Lake? Hemlock Lake is in the neighborhood; Lake Lucile Campground       is a great campground nearby. A great deal of rain falls at Alameda Lake; the month with most of the rain is December while July is mostly the driest month. This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Willamette Pass since you're here, and the view of scenic Diamond Rockpile is great. Going for a hike on the Sawtooth Way is always a great adventure;                  paddling on Hills Creek is so much fun. And if you're still looking for more outdoors fun stuff just keep reading. Emigrant Pass is close to Alameda Lake and is definitely a tremendous location to explore, and if you came for an overnight stay Shelter Cove Resort is a good site to camp. Through the warmest time of the year here at Alameda Lake, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 80's; the night is a tad cooler of course, mostly in the 40's.
