This lake is so wonderful. On a glorious day at Wister Lake you can take a hike along the Billy Creek Trail, and Wister Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check out. If you need a spot to stay Days Inn is a splendid choice, and Wister Lake is a fine place to visit for more than one day, Horse Thief Spring Campground is a fine place to camp nearby. For the duration of the summer months       here at Wister Lake, high temperatures frequently get into the 90's while night lows are generally in the 70's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 50's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Wister Lake. Wister Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; May is when you get the most rain here while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. The Ouachita Mountains scenery is always beautiful. All the outdoors exciting stuff in the vicinity                  of Wister Lake will keep you coming back persistently.
