Wister Lake is located in the Ouachita Mountains. Getting to Caston Creek from Wister Lake is simple; if you're here you can take a hike along the Billy Creek Trail. Man, is there a heap of entertaining stuff to do in the Ouachita Mountains. Wister Dam has perfect water scenery and it's close to Wister Lake; on a perfect day you can take a hike along the Boardstand                  Trail. Summertime highs at Wister Lake commonly tend to be in the 90's while night lows are ordinarily in the 70's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's, and nighttime lows throughout the wintertime for Wister Lake tend to be in the 20's.
