That right there is heaps already, but it continues; West Lake has it all. Get dripping wet paddling on Jimmy Creek. Lakes are such peaceful spots, why not have a look at Elmer Thomas Lake close to West Lake, and Carlton Mountain is clearly visible from West Lake. West Lake is a beautiful lake in the Wichita Mountains. From a rain point of view West Lake is a relatively typical spot;       of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain; January is the month with the least moisture. The warmest time of the year at West Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 90's. Summer night lows dip down to the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 40's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at West Lake sink into the 20's. And if that's not enough there's loads more amusing stuff to do in the Wichita Mountains.                  There are other places here than West Lake, for example Lake Lawtonka, and why not camp at Letra Campground and Picnic Area while you're here at West Lake. If you need a place to stay Baymont Inn & Suites Lawton is a great choice; since you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Lawton. This lake is so wonderful.
