    If you are in this part of Oklahoma make sure to pay a visit to Tucker Lake. If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Ouachita Mountains. Hiking along the Billy Bell Trail is brilliant fun, and paddling on Rocky Creek is so much fun. The warmest time of the year at Tucker Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's with night lows in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's while the cold winter nights at Tucker  
   Lake are in the 20's. Yep, outdoors exciting things to do are in fact bountiful here at Tucker Lake. Microtel Idabel is a glorious place to get some rest.
This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the West Signal Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and if you came for an overnight stay Bertram Bobb Bible Camp is a nice place to camp. All the water falling down from the sky makes Tucker Lake a wet site; the month of May is
 
               the wettest with most of the rain while January is usually the driest month. If the weather is delightful here at Tucker Lake, you can go for a hike along the Dead End Trail, and if you need a site to stay Quality Inn Idabel is a great choice.
Glover River has a nice whitewater paddling spot close by, and naturally Wolf Creek flows through this vicinity. This lake is one of the great places here in the Ouachita Mountains.
