If you are in Comanche county it's always a good idea to stop by Treasure Lake. The amount of precipitation that falls at Treasure Lake is close to the national average; the month with most of the rain is May, and the driest month of the year is January. This lake is so wonderful. If you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Jimmy Creek, and Post Oak Lake Dam is a pretty spot, positively worth a visit. things in the neighborhood of Treasure Lake. Camping at Treasure Lake is great fun, Doris Campground is a great local campground.
This lake is one of the great places here in the Wichita Mountains. Treasure Lake is a pleasant place to camp, Letra Campground and Picnic Area is a pleasant place, and people from Lawton love to come here.
