Stay the night at Roadrunner RV Park; there's some flowing water close by, Cherry Creek is a stream you can check out while here. From a precipitation point of view Thompson Lake is a relatively common place; May is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is January. Bricktown Hotel and Convention Center is a great site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful.       An afternoon playing golf at Trosper Park Golf Course is always a delight, and if you need a location to stay Bricktown Central Plaza Hotel & Convention Center is a tremendous choice. Thompson Lake is a great spot to camp, Arrow-wood Mobile Home Park is a great spot, and at Thompson Lake you always meet someone from Oklahoma City. All through the long summer days highs here at Thompson Lake reach the 90's.
